HISTORY

My name is Marco and I am a Life Scout from Troop 1. The creation of Milford StoryWalk was my Eagle Scout Project, which started in May 2018 and came to completion in August 2019. I chose this Eagle Scout Project, because ever since I was a child, I have enjoyed reading and other similar activities. So for my Eagle Scout Project, it is only fitting that I share my hobbies with our city.

On August 9th, the Public Works Department dug all the holes for the signs to be put in the next day.

On August 10th, a local BSA Scout Troop, with the help of the Fire Deparment, put in all the sign posts, signs and concrete.

On August 31st, Mayor Ben Blake officially opened the StoryWalk Project to the public
